Leaving the corporate world 5+ years ago was never something I imagined doing. I thrived on the lifestyle of meeting with accounts, educating, learning, making quotas. I loved it enough to hate it. I hated it because I was missing out on my daughter’s life. I hated it because it “owned” me. Fast forward about 2ish years, full time stay at home mom. I loved that I could be involved in every second of their lives, to be there to raise them, but I felt like something was missing so…….. I hated that I was no longer “me”. I hated it because I was too available. I needed to find a balance, and I then realized life isn’t about balance, it about what works for YOU and your family.
